I agree with the proposals in your minute, except that I think, as a matter of tactics, it will be better to inform the Asquith Commission of our intention to set up the Advisory Committee, rather than to tell them that the Committee has already been set up. This would give them an opportunity of making observations if they wished to do so. I would not suggest that they should be specifically asked to make observations.
